To send vehicles to Central America from California, the following requirements must be met:

for the vehicle, the client has to fill out the required forms, and present Title, vehicle invoice and Power of Attorney.

  • Shipping instruction (Shipper and Consignee)
  • Prohibited items
  • North Atlantic Policies
  • If a vehicle contains cargo/packages in its interior, customer must provide a detailed packing list and corresponding invoice(s), whether the items are new or used.

To ship vehicles to Central America from the state of Delaware, the following requirements must be met:

  • Original title of the vehicle with its respective purchase invoice.
  • The Shipper's EIN number.
  • Notarized export power of attorney and Shipper's identity document.
  • The Title must always be endorsed in the name of the person who sends the vehicle, that is, the same name of the person who signs the Power of Attorney.

In addition to customs requirements, at the Delaware Office, all customers must fill out and sign the following forms:

  • Vehicle receipt format (Who sends and who receives in the destination country).
  • Load format (if the vehicle is loaded).
  • Form 2015-03 detail of prohibited items.
  • North Atlantic Policies.

If the client carries cargo inside the container, in addition to the previous forms, he must fill out and sign the Container Loading Form.

NOTE TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

  • If the client buys a vehicle in a place other than an auction and it is located in Central America, the client must provide us with the social security number or ITIN of a person who resides in the USA in order to obtain the EIN required by customs, or the EIN number of the dealer where the vehicle was purchased.
  • If the client who resides in Central America made the purchase of a vehicle while in the USA, he must present a photocopy of the passport where the visa and the entry and exit stamps of the country are verified. (only in this case the EIN is not necessary). But it is necessary that the date on the vehicle purchase invoice coincides with the date of both entry and exit that is found in the customer's passport.

To send vehicles to Central America from the state of Florida, the following requirements must be met:

  • Original title and invoice
  • Consular Letter Patent of the business where the name of the company and person who is signing the consular letter appears.
  • Legible photocopy of the identity document of the person signing the consular letter.
  • If you are an American resident or citizen, you have the right to export 3 vehicles per year by signing a power of attorney per vehicle, title deed (endorsed to your name) and notarized bill of sale.
  • Vehicles with Canadian titles to be exported need to have form 7501, unless the exporter is the owner.
  • Vehicles from any dealer and/or company with a US address cannot be exported.
  • For the load you need the invoice and the list of the merchandise, if you buy it from a dealer you need the information and the TAX ID of that company.
